This gorgeous branding and website project for creative agency, Arrow & Wing, quickly became one of my favorite recent projects in the past year. I wanted this brand to toe the line between bold and timeless, inviting and upscale. In order to achieve this, I created a modern brand aesthetic with warm earth tones accented by a crisp black. Large block letters contrast the elegance of the Renaissance artwork, and the minimal design layout intentionally evokes a spirit of simplicity and mystery.

Project Scope

The words Arrow and Wing collectively come to define direction and position, ease, and swiftness of motion. I love it when a brand name embodies tone and meaning, which makes it a lot easier for a designer to play off of those words in the overall design direction. As you can see from the color palette, typography, and negative space included in the design, it was important for this brand to feel crisp and straightforward while leaving space for the organic nature of creativity and movement.
